Gays, Lesbians, and Bisexuals! Oh My!!
I don't know what gets me more pissed off. Straight, young, men thinking that every gay person wants to stick it in their ass or how the Religion books at my school contradicts its teachings.
I don't know why, but a lot of people were talking about gays today. From this morning, to tonight. i would like to clarify that not every gay man wants to stick it in another mans ass, or be on the other end for that matter.
Some men just prefer men or woman, for various reasons.
In the Religion book, it states,"Homosexuality: a person who feels sexual attraction to someone of his or her own sex." Then it goes on to say, "Many people experience a confusion about their sexual orientation. They may feel a strong sexual attraction towards someone of their own sex, or have someone of their own sex demonstrate sexual feelings towards them. None of these acts makes a person homosexual." And finally, "People who are homosexual are no different from any other people. They should be treated with the dignity and respect given to all human beings. Recall that Jesus went out of His way to protect from abuse those whom society considered sexual sinners. In following Jesus, we are to treat all people with love. People who are gay, lesbian, or bisexual are loved by God, are entitled to just and equal treatment by other human beings, and are to be granted loving acceptance by those who consider themselves Christians."
First off, let me point out the contradiction in the book. Quote one and quote two contradict each other, by obvious reasons that i shouldn't even have to point out. And secondly, it pretty much says that gays, lesbians, and bisexuals, should be treated equally just like everyone else. Yet gays cannot marry in a Church. Why is this when the Church tells its followers to follow in Jesus' footsteps when the Church that promotes its teachings cannot follow it themselves. And now we have prop 8 in California trying to let men marry men.
And lastly, this is all from a straight mans perspective, Me.

A Not-So-Went-As-Planned Friday Night
Ok. I went to my friend Ben's house so he could drive us to Knotts Scary Farm. My friend and of our group were suppose to wait for us, or at least buy our tickets and we would have immediately paid them back once we met up with them. So its about 720 and we are about a block away. If they would have waited for 5 more minutes, we would have been there. Since the group were nearing the front of the line, we parked across the street. As we are running, we called the group to find out which line they are in. We finally get ahold of them at it turns out they already bought their tickets.
Fortunately, we run into one of our friends from school. he lets us know where the rest of the group We get in line with them. They are about half way through the line. So we stay in line for about 2 and a half hours. We finally make it to the window around 10 and just say dgaf, since Ben had to be home by 1. So we just leave the line and go hang out in the back scoping out if we know anyone that we know.
So suddenly 2 random chicks come up to us asking for money so they could get into Knotts. They tried to hop the fence earlier but it was too tall. So, we start talking to them. We keep talking to them for about 10 to 15 minutes. One of the girls mention that Outback is literally down the street from her house. So after a few minutes of contemplation about where we should go, we go to Outback. So us four all somehow fit into Ben's little Ford truck that has only 1 bench. We get there, and as we we begin to walk towards the entrance of Outback, one of the girls decides to go to her house to check in with her mom. and her friend decides to go with her. So me and Ben look at each other. And I say to Ben, Dude we just got ditched.
So we begin to walk towards his car. Then I had the sudden urge to us the restroom, so I went inside. I come out 5 minutes later. As Ben is about to start his car to pull out and leave, Ben turns his head and who does he see. The 2 girls are walking back towards the truck. So we are both surprised, since we thought they used us for a ride back home. so we begin talking for a couple minutes then we go to inside and find out that they were closed. So everyone is disappointed. We start to discuss where to eat now. The girls say that Denny's is down the street, so we all decide to go to Denny's. For some odd reason, Ben lets one of the girls drive his truck do Denny's. During the ride over there, Ben is acting crazy and is thinking about what an idiot he is for letting this girl drive his precious truck.
We finally arrive at Denny's. Us four sit down. As we talk, we realize that were dining at Denny's with two strangers. We talk until about 1215, then we all decide to leave. The same girl drives back to her place. We exchange numbers, and part ways. we make it back to Ben's house around 1:04. Four minutes after we are supposed to be back. Oh well. =]...
